I think I understand how it hooks up.

But what about the oil feed brass tee fitting that threads into the block? Plug that one port on the tee fitting?

Correct, you need to plug the tee. I recommend that be the first step when installing my Turbo PROTECTOR kit. Real mess is in the making if you forget to do it!
