"PTS" - What does it mean?

I was looking at several different transmission specialist's websites, and saw PTS just about everywhere. Bruce's sight had it of course. Mike Kurtz's Century Transmissions had it.
And, Level 10 had it, but had a "trademark" symbol next to their PTS.

Is this just a coincidence, or are they all somehow related? Sorry if this is a stupid question, or has already been discussed.

And the tm one is an infringment from Level Ten stating that it means Performance Transmissions Systems. According to the US Trademark office, this is not right. Since it has and does cause confusion in the public eye and we had way prior to him, we are entitled. This has been reviewed by the top at the US trademark office. I have been told it would be an easy trademark infringment issue considering I have had it for 15 years but I do not have any energy or time right now to deal with Pat Barrett right now. His day will come.I will let him make some money for awhile before I go collecting. BTW,so this is no "rumor" it has already been drawn up with docs by the lawyers. All I need at this time is to serve him. What a cheat ...
Guess he can't build a rep on his own endevors....
