This is what I did this week.... :)

That pump is a Walbrow 340....Nothing special about that, but, it has a new, special base to fit the GM product without the fittment hoops the old 340M did.

Be sure to call the order in....You'll save the shipping cost.

Did you install the upgrade harness as well?
A TR harness has different gender terminals!
A GSS340M has no fitment issues. 15 years being part of the Walbro product line and all of a sudden fitment is a problem? It more a case of economics than anything.

Looking for a good deal on a fuel pump and wiring kit. Will a Buick system fit the TTA? Looking at this vendor's site they look different to me?

The TR and TTA harnesses are different in a few ways. The connectors on the TR upgrade harness will not plug into the TTA. The TTA shares aspects of two cars. The Racetronix TTA harness is a combination of our F7 / f-body and G7 / TR harness. The wire lengths and certain component mounting locations are different as well.

The Racetronix TTA system is a stocked item and is available via out web page or through an authorized Racetronix dealer.

Hope this helps. :)

I bought the racetronix pump and harness. It was very nice and easy to install (well except for dropping the tank of course). I was really suprised when I got the harness because of the quality. It looks fairly close to a stock harness, but maybe a little better quality. The harness was very easy to hook up with no problems at all. I would definatley suggest their kit especially since everything is made to fit correctly on the TTA and you know what you're getting is going to be a top of the line product.

great information guys, ive been looking into getting better fp for my convertible(still got the stocker from the 5.7l) .ill be ordering the Racetronix set up..looks very well put together..thanks

Thanks for the info guys :)

I just received my Racetronics parts. This stuff looks top notch. I can now see the distinct differences between the Buick and TA setup. Hopefully I will be able to find the time to install it soon. The install looks pretty straight forward so hopefully I will not run into any snags. I am not looking forward to dropping the tank.
