How can you tell that the pump is pumping for sure. All my connections work, when I hit the test button and increase the knob the "power injection" gets brighter and my turn on led goes green but I cant hear the pump. I just want to make sure that when I start to boost she is actually spittin. I also had somebody push the test button with the knob on 7 and I went right to the pump and didn't hear anything.

Put liquid into the tank.. start engine.. let it warm up.. turn knob on controller to 8.. hold test button down until motor changes idle/surges.. release button.

The turnon LED will lite up red.. once preset pressure is reached.. it will change to green. Typically if you have the knob at 5 at about 10-12 PSI boost you'll see it go to green.

If your going down the street.. hit the test button and you'll see the O2's jump in the 800's.. if so.. its spraying.

Start at low boost.. work your way up.. but none of this can happen UNTIL YOU PUT LIQUID IN THE TANK

Razor you got it  , I do have alky in the tank but the pump started to to leak again by the inlet but stopped shortly there after. Everything seems to be good now. I will be sending you the other pump back ASAP. I will check everything you just metioned on her next time out.

How much alky should be placed in the tank normally? Up to the full line?

Thanks again.

Better take a good look. I have never had a brand new pump leak when the fittings are on properly. Maybe the hose is loose? Make sure everthing is dry, and do so after running the system.

Fill the tank all the way to the top. The marks are there from GM.. not me.

Curious to see the crooked thread issue on the other pump.

Thanks so much Julio. I have checked it and will keep checking it everytime I run the system. All hoses are on tight and was leaking from the fitting connected to the pump not the hose connected the fitting. But everything seems to be dry and staying that way now. I hope you didn't mind that I posted in both places

Ok, disconnected the hose coming from the filter to the nozzle and when I hit the test buttong she doesn't spit out any alky I tried with the car off and key in the "on" position and with the car actually running.

Did I mess up with the wiring some where? All of my lights go on, The low fuel when I dont have anything in there, and when I do have alky in the tank no low fuel so that is working. When I hit the test button both the turn on led works and the power injection bulb lights up.

When I am driving around and I boost I see the turn on led go green. What could possible be wrong. Do i need to go into the PAC controller and change the turn on and intial points? Please advise.

Thanks

If you see the turnon LED go from red to green... its spraying.. period.

If your blue gain knob is set really low, it may not spray when you hit the test. To test, turn the blue knob to position 8 and then hit the button.. bet it sprays as should.

At 5 PSI it should turn the "turnon" led to red.. when the system makes 30 PSI pressure, it flips it to green. The green condition will vary as to the gain setting on the controller. On position 8, like 8 PSI boost. On position 1 maybe 15-18 PSI boost.

Joe, it really sucks trying to figure your "issues" on a forum.. my suggestion is to have you call me.. its not like I dont answer my phone 80+ hours a week

AND please read my previous post.. its very very clear

Ohh... one more thingy.. you said.. "I hope you didn't mind that I posted in both places".. yes.. your making me work twice
