Putting motor back together and got to the heads.Do all the bolts run threw a water passage and if so what sealant to use on the threads? Can I just use liquid Teflon? Also noticed there is no dowel pins in block should there be to hold head and gasket in place?Using ARP head bolts instructions say 75 LB is that correct?

Thanks
Shaun

Losktite 567 on the threads as it stays somewhat pliable.
You need the dowel pins but the newer ones are sometimes on the long side. Take a drill bit & clean out the mating holes real good! Otherwise you can lift a head pretty fast with any major boost.

here is a ggod writeup on head studs that works for me & has on 4 motors.
