question on hot wire kits that are out there.. Are they all made so that you run the hot wire outside the car and down in th eframe to the back under the trunk and connect to the pump harness outside the car? OR does anyone know of a kit that is run inside the car and connect with connectors inside the trunk connector??Which is better and why??

hot wire

don't want to steal the thread but reading Red Armstrong literature, he seems to indicate that the factory wiring on the 87 was superior to 85,86. and hotwire may not be needed for 87 models. does anyone have any thoughts on this?

hot wire

Pg. 9 of the lit package he sends when ordering a chip "we found an American made pump that will pump 38+ gallons per hour at 60 psi through the stock fuel system with the sock wiring on the 87 Turbo Regal, 1984 through 1986 must have a wiring change". He is referring to his XP Plus Fuel Pump in the article. I would like to really know because i plan on upgrading to his pump. I could call and ask but he is tuff to get a hold of. thanks
