Ok so this morning I check site, drinking me coffee and its raining and sunday so im kicking back and i come across a thread in the tech area titled.

Has anyone put a cop bumper on their buick?

So does the title open the person up for ridicule from that point on or what?

Would anyone ask a question like that knowing full well that 99% of the people on here would not put a push bar on thier buick..ok so I check it out.

Then I read that oh he wants to run into and over things like mad max...HUH?
Well a couple of posts on down people are like what? and the fun begins, of course i cant resist..lol

So in the end he calls everyone with smart comments A$$ holes making quite clear how he has spent a buttload of money and were not worthy and know nothing etc and im like big friggun deal, ive spent hundreds of thousands on crap that ive sold for 20%, ive been in the game a long time although new to buick turbos, i have no retirement, no 401k no IRA...ive spent it all on cars but oh well im still breathing


if I see someone who posts a rediculous..ok maybe not to him but in the wrong area does that leave one open for jabs then to tell us to lighten up?..

I could see the cop car mad max theme but it was approched a little off.
no one gonna poke a stick at me cause they asked some question put in a silly context. and got some silly replys.

im on here to read the good data, theres alot of smart people on here and i search out their post as well as have a little light hearted fun. Im about as easy going as they come and lifes to short to be way serious

it's a case of small-minded people with a computer......same ole sh&t.....ask a simple question and tou get a dozen or more replies that have nothing to do with the question at hand.......

Since I deal people that have no sense of humor and very little personality all day long....here's my general rule of thumb.

If it's posted anywhere but in the turbo lounge, than it should be treated like a geniune request for help or information.

Anything else that IS posted in the turbo lounge...than it's fair game.

You could of course refrain from commenting at all. But where's the fun in that?

Yeah Eric I should have just passed it right on by.

Its a cool idea, i had nothing wrong with that i just seen the run over things comment and pounced. Sometimes a
J/K <--- after a statement such as that would negate any potential comments from the peanut gallery. But after receiving call from best friend diagnosed with colon cancer stage3 yesterday I guess i wasnt in my mind to even be on online much less playing nice.

I think Grumpy's right, winter is setting in and us northern folks are getting cabin fever already, but I got place in Orlando and I think IM gonna fly down for the weekend, cause its getting to me here and its only Dec3

I think it's better if U know the person.

The people that I know have full authority to bust my balls at will on anything I post or have done that they have knowledge of. Its always a good time and I usually start most of what I get anyway. Since most people are sensitive these days, I try to only go after people that I know, unless its in the political or lounge section, then its pretty much a "No Holds Barred" kind of thing. Anyone who posts in those sections knows that people are going to attack there writing.
