If the ecm "remembers " BLM & adjusts from reading the stored cells, What 'remembers' the settings for cold Start up, when in open loop & the ecm not adjusting ?

Yes Jerryl , sorry for the confusion. If I run & drive my Rig around , then I park it and don't start it for another week, what tells the TPS & IAC to keep their settings ?

There is a constant 12V feed to store settings in the memory, similar to the radio. On a stock setup, the orange wire at the battery positive connection can be interrupted to erase the previously stored settings (memory).

GREAT ECM info! Part 1 1. Does it take several minutes for the computer (ECM) to clear it's memory and "unlearn" everything? No. Unplugging power to the ECM (The orange wire with connector behind the battery) immediately causes the ECM to lose it's memory - no need to wait any time at all...
