Question about Gen 7 DFI

If I buy the cheapest base unit ($980) can it later be upgraded to the wideband 02 version? Does anyone know what they actually do to it?

I allready own a wideband o2 meter and I'd love to be able to have them both working off the same sensor.

yes the gen vii is upgradable but that base price you listed is pretty darn low...you sure that isn't a base price for the gen vi?

also, im pretty sure the electronics between the way the 2 sensors read will be different and not compatable.

i think the upgrade to a wb02 with the gen vii is close to $900....maybe you could sell your wb02 unit and make up some of the difference or you could even "rent" it out to people to let them use it at the track, i'm thinking about doing that myself
