question about ym DP and emissions

i just bought a THDP from a guy, and he said it is a Jersey Style, i didnt know what that meant. Well when i got it today, i noticed that it has a dump on the bend going to the cat, will my car have trouble passing inspection with this on there, what i am trying to ask is will they fail me because it has the cap to open it up before the cat?

Well im not from texas, but I dont think so. As long as its sealed up they cant say anything. The exhaust can be taken apart anywhere so why is a dump any different. Dont think you'll have a problem.

When i took mine in they didnt even look, just hooked it up. Gave me a hard time about the 3" tailpipe.
