question, i have champion heads and champion roller rockers, when putting the rockers on,adjusting the pre load, all went fine, but one valve took almost 2 turns to get the right pre load, the others where 1 turn, is this some to worry about?? thanks ed

you doing the loading? Once zero lash is found, the preload is determined by the thread lead, on the adjuster.[IE: .050" per turn??]
Where/how are you determining that 1 valve took "2 turns"??
Excessive extension of the adj screws will close off the oil flow to the rockers...
Correct length p rods?
All valves the same length?
Valve seats sunk in the head?
All retainer/keeper combos the same?

New or used parts?
 
You might have air in a couple of lifters (not pumped up) and the plunger moves very easily.
