In the install manual it says to use either a switch or diodes to kill the alky during burnouts and launches. I did not see any diodes included with my kit.
My question is can i somehow wire a switch or use the existing button on my ebrake? So when i stage and start to build boost i would have the ebrake up with the button being held in with my thumb. Once i launch and drop the ebrake the alky would kick in...

What would i need to do this?
Can it be done?
Junk yard in search of a brake handle?

Thanks

Chris

Chris,
dont connect the purple wire to anything until you have the system up-n-running 110%. After you've figured dialing it in, then hook up a simple push button switch to ground on the purple wire and "then" see if it makes a difference on the way it spools while brake torquing the car. If it doesnt.. then the answer is leave it alone and dont connect anything.

IF the purple wire stays for some reason grounded.. you effectively have NO alky kit. So great care has to be used when using this input. 95% of the cars wont need to mess with this.
