Running a set of Hoosier Q/T pros on a set of Weld Draglites, 15x7 with 3.5" backspacing. I think I would have been better off going with 8" wide rims but was concerned about fit as my car sits real low. If I swapped to 8" rims with the same backspacing how would this affect fit? It won't actually move the tire out 1" would it?

wheels

it would would move it out 1 inch ? i'm not so sure about that....but i think the better answer here is that you would be BETTER SUITED with the 8" wheel and the difference is a 1/2 inch on each side. it also depends on what Rear Spacing you choose or as most people say "back spacing". HTH and feel free to call anytime with your wheel or tire questions. :)

I was thinking since the 7" rim sucks the tire bead area in more that using a 8" rim with the same rear spacing would mostly just spread the bead area wider. Tires are Hoosier Q/T Pros 10.50x27x15's.
