Do you even have to run a bypass or blow off valve?

the ported shroud compressor housing helps reduce part throttle surge, like squeezing up a couple pounds of boost when entering the freeway.

A "blow off" valve is used to dump the aircharge when the throttle is dropped.

2 different things.
