can a bad vac cannister assembly cause rev surge? kinda like what a bad IAC would do. I've changed out my IAC for a good used one and I still have surging. I read somewhere about Vac brakes vs powermaster, and something about the vac brakes affecting the IAC. any info would be appreciated by inqurining minds. TIA.

Process of elimination......
Chris -try pulling the hose off of the canister, and capping it at the source. See if that helps. Do you have a vaccum gauge?
My GN has had vaccum brakes since '96 with no problems. The T-Type will too as soon as it's running.
