Question on wastegate solenoid vac. lines...

Hey all. I need to replace the vacuum lines between the wastegate solenoid, compressor, and actuator. My question is does the length of the vacuum lines have to be a certain length or just close? Also, are using small zip-ties necessary? thanks

Just close, and zip ties are a very good idea.

If you are replacing the whole thing it might be easier to premake it after removing it from the car then just do the last 3 connections.

Working at the Y on the car ain't so easy.

Then again you have to make sure you get it oriented correctly.
