Question on wheels

what are the advantages or disadvantages of running 17 inch wheels rather than 16's(at the track).Thanks for the help.

Disadvantages - 1)Heavier/More rotational mass
2)Less sidewall to absorb 'shock' at launch

Advantages - bling...lol! Really no advantage. 15's would be better at the track.
