i have read some info on this but havent confirmed the prob yet i have oil in the intercooler up pipe and tb would this be a turbo seal and is there a way to test and confirm .i do have breathers on the valve covers its not that. any input would be good the turbo is the stock 86 garret t 10 any suggestions would be appreciated thanks

Lost the turbo on my car back in Sep. Sucked oil into the motor and fouled 2 plugs. The seal is probably leaking oil, pull off the intake side and look for oil.

If the stock turbo crapped the bed with my present setup is it only possible to use only the stock turbo or is there other options for s stock setup that are a step up

there s oil in the turbo inlet and when I felt there is a lot of shaft
play on the turbine

3 gallons?

Lol. I was replying to a text message on my phone. Apparently I was in the wrong field. Fwiw a 200-4r with an aftermarket pan needs about 3 gallons of oil with a 9.5" converter

what company makes a decent one like that

I've got a stock appearing ta49 with a Garrett .63 if you're interested. Zero run time. It's in my sig.

You can also get your stock turbo rebuilt, I read a post that stated you wont really see much difference between the stock turbo and a ta49 until you run over 22lbs of boost. If you plan on running those boost levels then a ta49 would be a great choice if not just rebuild your stocker its should be good up to 22lbs.
