I recently had my gn painted(about 5 months ago) car was done very very nicely and it looks great, no blemishes whatsoever, very smooth. however, working at a new car dealer i noticed that my car next to other brand new black cars doesnt look as "reflective" however, my paint looks smoother than the new paint, it just doesnt reflect as well.. is there anything out there that can help this>? im sure brand new honda paint can be matched.......

I use a 3 step wax process that they use here at the dealer. it shines up really nice, but it just doesnt look right.....illl check out the site, thanks

Was your car wetsanded and buffed? That will give it a deeper black look. Kinda makes the black look blacker in a way. Also makes it shinier.

that was my nextstep billdogg if i cant get and good advice here. guess ill have to give that a shot...

You stated elsewhere that your paintjob cost $5000. Unless there was an incredible amount of bodywork, that should have paid for a show quality, wetsanded and polished to brilliance, paint job. Which is it?

i know! thats my point. the car was stripped downt o the metal because the whole thing had the "spider-webbing on it" Maybe its just me and im too picky bnecause i everyone i show the car to says its gorgeous and theres nothing wrong with it. im just going to take it back to where i got the work done and see what they think is going on

I helped out my buddy who owns a paint shop for a week, and did quite a bit of wetsanding. I couldn't beleive how much of a difference it made.

Sounds like the paint has dyed back....it will look kind of hazy...
Have that puppy buffed and polished and it will be shiny-er than before.

That looks great Bishir. I thought there was a big hole in your door for a split second.

Hehe, thanks! Sorry about the double post too. Why can't we edit posts?
