[Turbo LeSabre]

Hi,
I am new to this board.I have been checking it out here for a couple of weeks now.I have a question,I just bought a 78 LeSabre with the 3.8 turbo with 63,000 original miles and the motor was just rebuilt.I was woundering if a turbo off a 84 Grand National will work on this car,and does anyone have any suggestions of what I can do to it to make it a little faster.I don't know much about this car so any suggestions will be appreciated.

Follow FC227 (Fred) or B4Blacks recipe.
The only turbo's for these car are the ones on them from 78-83.
A 84 and up will not work. You can have the turbo hogged out.

how do we know what turbo is on our car to referece that site "GT-??"

He does not list our turbo on the site, you would have to ship them your turbo including the plenum. It should be a TB0308 turbo. Casting numbers are listed here: http://www.flash.net/~rjgeorge/casting.htm

He is also not the only rebuilder, just the one I like
