On an 86/87 engine there are two fuel lines: the pressure line, and the return line (the one that threads into the fuel pressure regulator).

Of these two lines, which one is outermost (closest to the radiator on the front of the engine) for routing purposes?
I need to know this so I know what order to install them.

Thanks in advance.

The supply line is closer to the front of the car.The return line is on the inside next to the engine. The return line can be a pain to thread in to the regulator. I find it easier to remove the regulator from the rail, get the line threaded in good and then reinstall the regulator before you tighten the flare nut. Good luck.
