i wanted to know where you guys thought it would be a good place to pull the oil from for a mechanical oil pressure guage... i was thinking down by the sensor on the pass side front part of the block teeing it off somehow if it was possible...is there anybody on this board that has a mech oil pressure guage on there car cause i would like to know how you set it up.....
please get back a.s.a.p....:(

any good info would be greatly appreciated..... where can i get the most accurate reading......

I have a mechanical gauge. It's atteched to a brass t-fitting that screws into the block. The car was like that when I bought it, but I believe that the stockers had a factory oil pressure sensor mounted there instead.

The brass line on my car is then routed up behind the turbo, across the front of the plenum, along the drivers side valve cover (between cover & intake) and into the main firewall hole.

Hope that helps.

Mine is T'd at the turbo oil feed line. Not so pretty but it works.

Had to use copper line since it's hot up there, plastic dries out and cracks when touched or moved.

Works with or without the turbo shroud.
