Im about to wire my 85 from bumper to bumper.Ive got my plan semi layed out and was gonna see what you guys thought.

All wire will be aircraft wire with a mil spec connector thru the firewall to the XFI.Heres my game plan so far:

Ford TPS 18awg
GN ATS 18awg
Inj x6 14awg
knock sensor 18awg
dizzy 18awg sheilded
crank trigger 18awg sheilded
5 bar MAP 18awg
wbo2 18awg
GN CTS 18awg
ESC 18awg
Fans 12awg
ams 1000 20awg
ls1 vac pump 16awg

Any problems using the 18ga??I was told I could run 16awg or 18awg,I choose 18awg because its lighter...

What should I use on the following?

MSD 7al
Mezeire elec WP

What about powering the XFI??Anyone have an XFI pinout?

Anything else im forgetting besides the IAC???I dont think im going to put one in as the car will never be street driven...

Any input is appreciated.Thanks.

That water pump takes about 8 amps, i would go with at least a #14 gauge there. The msd box , msd suggests a #10 wire. I would put the iac in, it helps the engine from stumbling when getting off the gas quick and cold start. How many amps does the ls1 pump take?
