Well technically Ann Arbor is a suburb of Detroit (within 60 miles) and there is race gas on US23 at Territorial :-)

Sorry, not much help I suppose.

I just order a 55 gallon drum of 110 and keep it in the driveway.

and how much was this drum. who'd you order it from, do they deliver, did delivery cost you anything, and is it more expensive the higher octane you go?

Oh hell.... I don't have THAT good of a memory :-)

I will have to find the CC receipt but I think it was 300 and some change.

Got it from an oil dealer up in Brighton and he did not charge to deliver.

I think it was more for 116 but again.....old and forgetful.

I mix the 110 with 93 in a 50/50 to get around 101 octane so a 55 gallon drum lasts the entire year.

He charges 20 if you don't have a drum to exchange so I had to do that the first time around but not this year when I eventually drain the thing.

Gave Steve a call. Prices have gone up (imagine that)

55 gallon drum of Sunoco 110 purple = $330.00 plus tax. Add on 20 bucks for a drum deposit if you are not swapping out.

He also has 112, 114, 116 but as he was not in the office he did not have prices for those.

He is in the (517) area code but I got his info from Corrigan Oil of Brighton Mi.

i called vp racing fuels, and they want over 500 bucks for a barrel. The local speed shop wants almost ten bucks a gallon for the 96 octane stuff. F*** these guys. I'll stick with mixing my xylene or toluene thank you very much!

My guy is 6 bucks a gallon for 110 which isn't bad.

I will pay that for the smell of high octane :-)
