Regarding 4 Wire Heated Sensor:
I have a Casper heated O2 kit on my car (4wire). For replacements I use AC DELCO AFS 109 or an equivalent.

I asked Denso for their lead-resistant part number for an equivalent to AC DELCO AFS 109 (1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GT 3800 Vin 1 forward Oxy Sensor)

Denso replied their part number is 234-4018.

I will try this one out on straight 110. However, won't be able to report any results till next spring. Car is sleeping in the garage.:(

Maybe someone could check on the Denso replacement for a Delco AFS-74 as well? That is a very common heated O2 that is used by alot of TR guys.

The last 2...

I ordered the last (2) single-wire O2's that Monarch had in stock today.

One of them is going on a car that runs leaded gas 100% of the time. (Cam2 purple on the street/ VP C-23 at the track) It will be installed as soon as I get it. This car should run around 94 mph in the 1/8th, and we'll be at the track with it Nov. 30th.

The other is going in a car that will also be at the track with us on the 30th. This car should dip in the 6's in the 1/8th. However this car doesn't see much street duty to really put the sensor to the test.

Using both of these cars I should get a pretty good idea of how well these sensors will be to us.

I'll let you know as info arises!!

sensors

I started to buy them all;) He only had three when i ordered mine:D i just got one though:) ....................

Hmmmm, any info yet on how well these things work or don't? My O2 is getting lazy again, so this would be a perfect reason to change it to one of the Denso units, if they work as advertised. :D

Well, I ordered those (2) sensors on Nov. 21st and haven't seen them yet. However, I haven't been home today to check the UPS at the house.

Needless to say they weren't in the (2) cars for our event this past weekend. And the (1) car that runs leaded gas 100% of the time blew a headgasket out. So, now I only need (1) of the sensors.

The above car (that blew the headgasket) did run a 7.48 @ 93.3 w/ 1.70 short time. And it blew the gasket 200 ft. from the 1/8 mi. finish line! It is an all stock long-block w/130k miles, all stock intercooler (and they say you can't go fast with one!), Te61, 009's, THDP, stock D-5, stock tranny/rear-end. I think we could have gotten deep in the 7.30's with more tuning and of course not blowing the gasket.

They're here...

So now I just need to find a couple of cars to test them in!

Damm, wish I was closer to ya.....I'd be happy to test one if I was. My car is on a steady diet of 114, so it has a pretty good appetite for O2 sensors....lol. Oh well, keep us updated once you get the testing going...:D

That price on the MACH V site may be a HUGE markup...that looks like a ricer site and we all know ricer parts cost more.

With an O2 that is lead fouled, the car won't run as well at part throttle/cruise though, right? That would be the advantage.
I guess that on a car that uses race gas 100% of the time open loop is the way to go then.
I don't drive my car everyday, but I'll probably be putting 50 miles a week or so on it and I don't feel like having to put a new O2 in it once a week.

Denso

I am still waiting on mine:( I had to get another till this one gets in. i had a ac but i went to my local advance auto parts and he couldn't even order me another ac:confused: It did have a lifetime warranty but he swaped it for a bosch:( It probably will not last long with this 114 race fuel...hope to get it soon...........:)

got mine

It doesn't look all that special to me. what do you think about them NCturbos? It kinda looks like a bosch to me. i just bought a bosch. I will put this thing in this weekend and see how it works. only time will tell.......................................................Bob
