race vs. street chip

Will or should I see a difference? I have 110 oct avail at the track. With the street chip and 110 oct I could turn boost up to 19lbs. I ran an 11.84 @112mph. turbotweak did the street chip. I want to try a race chip. Do I first need to try and tune the street chip for more boost, before I buy a race chip? Thanks, Dave

you will probablly pick up 3 to 4 mph on a race chip. as far as the street chip goes. depending on what boost the chip is set up for eventually you will run lean. my chip from eric is set for 16 pounds and trying to get 19 pounds out of it probablly wouldnt happen.
