For you that have done this, Im curious to see what it was like putting the fan setup in. Were there any mounting issues, or did it just drop right in? Also, what did you do with the pully part that the clutch fan was previously attached too, just put the bolts back in a leave it there? And, did you guys just buy the wiring kit from caspers and that was it. Just curious to see how you guys did it, how hard it was, what was used, and the noticeable temp. difference. Thanks guys!

First thing i want to say is, this mod WORKS!!! Beforehand, my temps were aroun 200-210 with no A/C (granted this was in the florida summer). After converting to the f-body radiator and ramchargers dual fans, it barely ever rises above 165, and then only breifly. Thats after idling for 3 hours in my garage with the A/C blowing (so essentially NO airflow over the rad besides what the fans were putting out). Made a WORLD of difference. As far as mounting them, it wasnt too hard. I had to fabricate some brackets out of some scrap aluminum i had laying around. If youre at all creative, and have some basic mechanical ability, it souldnt be too ticky to figure out some way to mount your fans. If you're using the f-bady radiator, you will need the grind just a TINY bit off the sides of the fan shorud (if using the ramcahrgers fan) and it will pop in nice and tight between the end tanks. If youre suing a stock or some other radiator, i dont know, as i havent done that! :) Wiring was the one part that kinda threw me off. I e-mailed Caspers, told them exactly what i was doing, and asked what i needed wiring-wise. The reply i got told me to purchase their electric fan conversion kit for hotair cars, that this would be perfect. I even replied and double checked it would be sufficient for the load of a dual fan setup, not the stock 86/87 style single fan. I was told yes. Then a few weeks later when I got around to actually installing it, I had to call them up to answer a question about which wires go where, etc. and I was told that i would burn out the single relay unti if i sued it on a dual fan  So i then ahd to order a dual relay add-on harness to handle the load of the bigger fans. Essentially what I would suggest is to call them on the phone, specify EXACTLY what it is you are trying to do, and dont be afriad to ask them questions. The wiring itself wasnt hard at all, mostly a plug and play thing, with a few splices needed, the trcky part was figuring out what all i needed. Oh, and yes, i just bolted the old pulley back into place sans machanical fan.

Summary: A realtively easy mod, but required a little fabrication and some head-scrathing to get everything working right. Once i did though, MAN was i impressed... I dont know how much difference came from the new rad, and how much came from the fans, but either way, it friggin WORKS!

I recommend the racetronix harness very very good stuff I ended up with all they had to offer for the gn and have no regrets
I have an 87 and switched over to dual fans and harness nice easy mod that is worthwhile especially for you hotair guys because clutchfans are just outdated IMO
