Racing my friend's monte SS with a 350

Just got home.

Temps are in the mid 30's now and the Buick just kept getting faster

From a roll I am now definitely the faster.

Next year we are going to run at the track with sticky tires and see how we do.

It was all in fun and I never attempted to gloat or brag as it could have gone either way.

We both agreed he has the better exhaust note (flowmasters and headers) but he said I sound waaayy better accelerating as I 'whistle'.

He made the comment "dude...you are so going to beat me" so I didn't feel the need to say anything when I edged past

I want to run when we both have traction.

But.....as my newest thread says.... my MAF just died on me on the way home :-(

So no more racing this year.

What track do you run at?

No track....... we ran on some back roads and a few times on a main road with no traffic.

Bad bad bad I know..... but the track here is closed for the season. :-(

The ****ty roads and our street tires played major roles I am sure in our equally poor performance so I hope we can make it to a track next year.

We did, however, leave quite a few marks on the roads for all to see

I was wondering what track you will run at? I'm in Mi also, so I didn't know if you'd be hitting the track near here or not.

Ah.... I go to Milan. I live in Chelsea so that is the closest.
