Need some help. I am trying to avoid a $500 custom expense for a Radiator for my Hybrid pjt. I found a few options that I think will work but the inlet and outlet on the radiators I am looking at are slightly larger (1/4 inch) than the stock GN. I am hoping I can use the stock hoses, not sure on that yet, but they would be a bit small to fit the radiator. Has anyone had to deal with problem on a Hybrid and what did you do?

Thanks,
Matt

I would say a rubber reducer from the radiator down 1/4" to the stock size, then put a 1.5in long metal tube to couple them together.

For example it would go: 1.75in radiator, 1.75in to 1.5in reducer, 1.5in steel tube (2in long), stock 1.5in rad hose to the water pump.

I had this problem and I bought one of the flexible stainless steel hose kits from Summit Racing. Kit comes with adaptors and works great.

Thanks for the input. I found one @ Northern Radiator that looks pretty good. Not a stock price but better than custom.
