Which radio whit a cd player would fit in my 87 turbo t whit out cutting wires direct fit gm

My CD unit is from a 99 Tahoe bought adapter kit from Best Buy.
On the newer units u will need to modify the ears.

Get a fact radio w/cd from a newer camaro, tahoe or like vehicle that has the same radio and get the adapter harness from gmpartsdirect.com for 30 bucks and it will be a plug and play. I had to drill 2 holes in the dash bracket to use the newer cd player mounting tabs, then cut 1 of the mounting clips from the bezel. All in all it took less than 30 min from start to finish taking my time ( real slowwwww). Get the cd player with the fan on the back to keep it cool. get one just like this one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...=1http://www.turbobuicks.com/forums/index.php

A lot of people on here have done this upgrade, I got mine for only 50 bucks and works great. The adapter harness does not require any cutting or soldering. I can get you the part # if you want. I will have to look it up, let me know.

There are after market CD players that are a direct fit for our cars. I know Pioneer has 2, DEH-P77DH & DEH-P44DH. They're din & half radios made for GM & Chryslers with our sized openings. I put one of these in my dad's car, no cutting or butchering of any kind, which inturn made him happy.
The Metra part #'s needed for the wiring harness & install kit, if you choose to go with a standard din radio, are;

Wire harness 70-1677-1
Install kit 99-4544
