I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYONE IS RUNNING THESE FANS WITH A SMC ALKY KIT? IF SO PLEASE TELL ME WERE YOU MOVED THE ALKY BOTTLE TO.

THANKS IN ADVANCE,
NICK

I left the bottle in Nearly the same place it was. Used angle iron as a brace between the bottle and the fan, before using the angle iron the clamp would be too tight and distort the bottle. then Used one of the clamps from the bottle (old style, round bottle) to hold it to the fan motor support (each motor has 4 supports). Don't know if you could do this with the newer square bottles.

I mounted mine right onto the intercooler. Sits between/in front of the pipes nicely. Made a quick little bracket that attacthced the bottle to the up pipe clamps and called it good. Nice and handy for fills, but not to stealthy.

I realy dont feel like selling it but I will try to get some pictures, and explain it the best I can.

I couldn't get my SMC tank to fit in the same place after the dual fan install. I mounted the tank right in the center between the 2 fans, above the IC, right next to the up-pipe. I had to fab up some brackets for this, but I also used the brackets in conjunction with mounting the fan. In short, I have an aluminum angle bar mounted between the 2 bolts in the core support that once held the stock fan. I also have a bar running along the bottom of the fan that I used to mount the lower factory fan mount. I simply drilled a hole in each bar and placed another between the 2 with bends to clear the fan. The tank is mounted to this bar. It hangs free just as it did on the factory shroud.

I like it better there also because I once saw the alcohol bubbling from the heat last year. Now it has more moving air and is away from the turbo.
