Kit is all installed and all testing of bulbs, leaks etc checks out EXCEPT for the Power Injection bulb. It is staying on all the time when the key is on.

Full story, already had a bulb wired to the Power Injection with my old DIY kit so all I did was solder the lead from the existing bulb to the black wire of the pump harness as described in the instructions. Of course the other lead went to ground. Any clues? Isn't the bulb supposed to come on when the pump is running?? Also, if I turn the remote unit completely off the Power Inj light stays on. Guess I messed something up??

Hey Mark, the pump always has power, the progressive circuit routes the ground to it, so the power injection bulb will also always have power when the key is on, and uses the pump output (Ground) to complete the circuit, that way bulb will get brighter as the pump increases output.

Is the power light supposed to be on at all times though???? Went back over the directions and looks like I missed something. Looks like the Power Inj bulb wires should be going to the black and red pump wires. I had one going to the black pump wire and had the other going to ground so have to look at rewiring it I guess.

Sorry bud, wasn't too clear. No, the PI light shouldn't be on all the time, just when the pump is working. The light uses the same connections as the pump, with key on the pump and light will always have 12V+, just not a ground until the boost comes up, then they will also have a ground. Don't really know how to word it, but the the 12V+ is always there (key on) and the PAC controls the amount of ground getting to pump & light.

You'll love it man, had 28# yesterday, ran from a stop up to around 130mph and had ZERO knock the entire time, and it was about 93 degrees!

All set! Everything works as designed. Did have to use a new bulb for the Power Injection light as one of the connections was snapped off. No biggie!

Just went on a 25 mile run and so far so good with the new alky kit. Only could manage a 90 mph burst but no knock and car responded nicely with the graduation to meth from a 50/50 mix of isoproply alky and distilled water.
