Razor..no meth..Help

I just installed your kit this weekend and went to my local speed shop this morning..no methanol. He wont be getting any in till mid-December. Is denatured from Lowes going to work for me till then or am I wasting my time tuning with it and have to retune once I start running pure meth? Any down sides to deantured? Is your pump compatible with it?

I drove it this weekend on pure pump gas(my boost & chip stiill set for 110 octane at 21psi) and a mustang started messing with me, I had to turn off and let him go by. I cant let that happen again, I wouldnt be able to live with my self. Let me know what u suggest. Thanks.

By the way the kit was a breeze to install and very trick I might add.

You can order it too you know from certain websites. I would not use anything but Methanol personally.

I ran Home Depot denatured alcohol when I first installed Razor's system with no problem. Should be fine until you find a methanol source.

been using denatured from lowes since I bought my razors kit at the 2006 nats, no problems , been boosting at 26lbs on the street. only drawback is it's more expensive then meth close to 15 16 bucks for a container. good luck
gona be switching to pure meth this coming season...

Been thinking I may have to go back to denatured until the VP guy gets more Methanol:frown: . The VP guy doesn't have it, no local speed shop carries it, the chemical supply will only sell it in the 55 gallon drum. I've put less than 500 miles on the car in the last 15 months and have gone thru 4 gallons of alky. If I were to buy a barrel it would last a lifetime . Tried giving Razor a call today, but the line was busy...... Are you running straight denatured? (last time I purchased it, it was around $8 a gallon, about a year and a half ago)

Run denatured.. no problems except $$$. If your car is on the ragged edge.. 30+ PSI boost, you will have better results on methanol.
