What solutions have people used for the radiator overflow after installing Razors Alky kit? I'm pretty sure I saw a post awhile back and someone said they used a stainless aftermarket tank they bought on ebay but I'm having a hard time finding the post or the tank. They had a picture of the tank and I would like to get the same thing.

Thanks in advance.

I used the overflow bottle he provides with his kit. I stuck it between the pass fender and the battery. Im going to fab up a plate to keep it from falling out.

once I get the kit I'll take a look at it, but someone else bought a polished stainless steel overflow and it looked pretty cool. I was hoping whoever posted those pics would chime in on the specs or who they bought it from so I could buy one. Thanks for the response though.

I know summit and jegs sells them. probably not going to beat e-bays pricing

That tank looks small. I've been scouring the 'net for a cylindrical SS tank as well that is a minimum of 2 qts. I've been searching for hours with no luck.

Also, it does not say if its SS or aluminum.

I ziptied mine to the AC lines in front of the radiator. I have a 78 series battery in my GN and couldnt get the cap off. Previous owner installed it. I'll figure something out. I doubt it will pass a serious tech inspection, but it works for now; and I can get to it.

BTW way I just went 11.98@111 on pump gas and alchy(Razor's PAC). God I love this car. 26psi and NO knock.

I got my kit from Razor last week (thank you Razor!) and now I'm just waiting for a nice warm weekend so I can do a spring cleaning and install the Alky.

I found the passenger side too busy so I put mine on the drivers side. I had a homemade bigmouth so there's plenty of room over there.

I found that the bottle that comes with the kit works fine. Why would you want to fiddle around with something else???

While I use mine as it came in the kit and is perfectly functional, some people might want something a little more pleasing to the eye.

you pretty much hit the nail on the head. I saw someone else with the polished overflow tank and just thought it looked cool.

Maybe it's because I have a battery cover, but you can hardly see Julio's overflow can on my car.

I have mine in the same spot. Doesn't need to be "Eye pleasing" when it can't be seen at all. ;)

the alum idea is great. i had the orignal razors over flow on mine and the lid came off at the track. Spun the **** out of the one tire. could have been bad real bad.
