Do I need to use any sealant for re-installing the TB to the Plenum and the Plenum to the intake? Purchased RJC power plate and Boss Angle for IAC motor. Also, do you guys use anything for the bolts and if I'm not mistaken, torque for the Plenum is 14 lbs, correct?

Should not need any sealant-particularly with the new gaskets.

Does not hurt to put a little antiseize on the bolts but not imperative.

You may want to use a little bead of silicone on both sides of the TB to upper gasket... just my $.02. That is where I saw one small leak (even with a new gasket) on mine when I "pressure tested" my motor.

seal it

I put thin bead on all sides, read a lot of people getting leaks and had to take it apart didn't want to do it twice.

None of my cars had it from the factory....I guess I am lucky because I have never had a leak. :)

I oil up everything that threads into aluminum, start it by hand, being very careful that it threads in properly, and go very gently with hand tools and torque values...

:)

Are the plenum and TB gaskets available seperately from some place? The Felpro intake kit is only the lower section.

Dealer, right?
