Okay. I am finally ready to start on the long hard road of installing a turbo buick in my 95 bird. I've checked the local yards and have found 3.8's aplenty (found one clean looking 86 GN block) my question is are there any good retailers who supply the blocks that you recommend? so I can compare competitive rates on the block (cost is an issue and I dont want to be rooked) Any links or numbers would be appreciated.

Have you done your research? Your best bet is to get an entire drivetrain out of a turbo buick. You'll need the ecm, wiring harness, motor from intake to oil pan, and a lot of small things.

You will probably have to upgrade fuel lines, fuel pump, etc. Your best bet is to find a wrecked TR and pull everything from it.

I think Rons Custom Auto supplies crate motors. Do a search on here for the link.

using the 4l0e out of the bird with an adapter. hardest part about that may be replacing the solenoids with what the buick ecm used.
