I know the TA GNX look alike wheels are a hot item and look good on the TRs. I have them on my GN myself and love the look. I was lucky and got 4 fronts from a friend of mine who's into TAs. The one thing I don't like about these wheels is that they are 0 offset with 4.5" backspacing which makes them sit too far into the wheel well. Anyway....

What I'm getting at here is if you own a GNX with the real deal GNX wheels with the 15mm offset up front and 23mm offset in the rear, what do you do if you wreck a wheel? Are you SOL? Or are the real deal GNX wheels available from some exclusive manufacturer or something? The point is, the real deal GNX wheels would fit our cars alot better than the TA look-alikes and was just wondering if real GNX wheels were available somewhere...even if you had to prove you own a GNX to get them.

I'm going to say that if you ruin a stock GNX wheel you'd need to send it off to one of the wheel repair joints that can put a new rim on the wheel center.

No source for the GNX wheels.

You can have your TA wheels converted to the BS & width of your choice.

Several wheel re-builders can do it.

Do a SEARCH...

Was a post recently where someone had sent their TA wheels off for widening. Around 175.00 a wheel.

HTH :)

I've been making/selling stuff for these cars for 4 years now, so I'm pretty familiar with the sales figures of various items...

I can honestly say that if anyone WERE to reproduce these wheels, they wouldn't make a LOT of money. In fact, they'd be hard pressed to sell enough wheels (at a price people would pay), to break even on their investment...

catch-22...
