Given my combo of parts.
25psi with alky. Lots of Alky
If I had a good DP and full exhaust or dump.
Slicks and good driving on a good track.
Launch at 10psi. Dont think my brakes can do much better.
Assuming the bottom end will hold up.
What can I expect at the track once things are dialed?
Stupid question, I know. But some hot headed kid last night told me that theres no way I have an 11 second car in the right conditions, because he "knows a guy" who's GN runs 12's. I'm thinking its actually capable of a low 11 once parts are on and things are dialed in.
At 23psi right now (after I did the IC), I get .2 degrees of knock. This thing pulls like montezuma's revenge up till 4500rpm, then it flattens out pretty bad. I figure this is my fully stock exhaust, with a smaller than stock Cat on it. My cobra made 500 at the wheels, and it didnt feel like this car.

your mods are close to mine and i went consistant 11.60s without pushing it over the edge. you easily have an 11 second car. i was leaving with only a couple pounds of boost with a 1.899 60 ft. was running 22 pounds of boost which was telling me theres a lot left. :D

A really good tune with that boost and the -44 and ported heads should net mid 11's with a good (1.6 - 1.7) 60'.

3800 Stall with a TE44???? that convertor is far to loose... you will be suffering losses in top end MPH...

but Yeah... 11.s all day

Yeah. Its a really stupid choice of converter. It was there when I bought it. It also had 4.56's, so the prior owner was a real rocket scientist. I have a D5 I want to put in, but converting the tranny back to lockup is something I have no idea how to do. Ive never gotten a clear response of what I'd have to do. I know the D5 isnt quite enough stall, but its a daily driver and my mileage is horrible.

Bigger turbo and more boost!!!! Then hopefully the engine stays together :)

Its probably capable of 11.30s-11.50s or so. that converter and gears may be hurting you but at the same time helping the butt dyno. But I do have a similar motor setup and have been 11.40s with a best mph of 118. I'm pretty sure when winter rolls around with a little more tuning and a few other mods i have added i might be able to squeak out an 11.teen at 120 or so. but don't expect those times the first time out, 11.80-12.20 is more reasonable for a first track experience, unless everything just goes perfect ;)

Good to hear. By the way, I dont have those gears any more. It was a 7.5" rear end, (original owner treated the entire car like this..Kenneth Kwak return my damn phone calls!) and I had Lou Czarnota swap in the correct rear with the stock gears. Its had quite a few problems, but at least the car will idle at a stoplight now, and gets more than 8mpg. Before I go further with the mods, I'll have to fix alot of mundane stuff first. The intake manifold has to come off cause the gaskets are decomposing and leaking a bit. New steering column. Pull the tranny and figure out how to get it set back up for my lockup converter. Fix the oil leaks. Fix the A/C. New shocks (look like the originals! Plus it rides like crap) An old steam cleaning job on the engine corroded some connectors and stained all the aluminum, so I'll fix that too. New radiator. New ignition module. Power antenna stuck in the up position. New stock downpipe, cat and catback flange to get the flange positions back (I cant buy any aftermarket exhaust parts cause the flanges were cut off and everything was welded together). Car will not pass smog the way it is. the fumes have been unbearable from day 1. Turbo is in bad shape. Alot of stuff. Body filler is cracking open all over the passenger side, (the guy I bought it from, and myself, saw no signs of body filler. It passed the magnet test on most of the car. It started cracking all over a month after I got it, and it keeps getting worse  ). But that will have to stay the way it is cause I just dont have that kind of money for paint and body. I'll have to fix all this stuff cause I might sell it, and I dont want to sell a POS to anyone.
Sorry for getting off track. I just wanted to know what to expect once I can get to the exhaust parts and everything else. What sucks is that when I changed my driver's side header, it didnt really look like it had ported heads. Wont know for sure until I get the intake off.
