I was having problems holding boost on the line, my rear tires would keep spinning. I took the drums off and had them turned since i put new pads on a few months back. while i had the drums off i noticed that one of the rear shoes isn't making total contact with the drum. its catching on the top and on the very bottom but the whole middle of the shoe isn't hitting anything. what could it be? the shoes? the drum?

Get your car up on jack stands and put it in neutral. Have A buddy spin the tires by hand and adjust your back brakes until they just start to drag on the drums.
take it for a test drive, you may have to do this a few times until you get them adjusted to suit your driving needs.
