Rear brakes

Can anyone tell me if my rear brakes have been upgraded? The rear shoe lining is 11 1/4 inches long and the f

ront shoe is 8 inches long.

Hard to tell just be a picture. You should really upgrade to the LS1 rear disc brakes. I have them on my car and love it.

I don't believe there is any changes to the length, but as Chris mention some change over to Disc. I personally stay with the original type and most of the brake parts came from Highway Stars. http://www.nos4gn.com/servlet/the-524/ACDelco-Buick-Grand-National/Detail

for the cheap cost is easier to replace then to remove some of the rust and then paint the small pieces. The photo is one of the rear brake replacement

I think I depends on the rim..u might need a small spacer.... I know my weld pro stars don't fit,but would with a spacer..the rim clears the caliper body, but the face of the wheel (backside) hits the caliper ... If u search ls1 rear brakes in this section,you will find a thread clarifying this... Joel
