Rear end Gearing

What gear are people running with a glide trans.I`m runnig
a glide with a set of 33x16.5 tire and a set of 3.90 gear.The car feels lazy comming out and from the data logs it take a little time to get the rpm up after launch.The car weighs in at 3020 with driver and is twin turbo.

Duttweiler told me to run a 4.30 with a Glide and 33 inch tall tires.

I run a 1.76 1st gear in the Glide, a 4:10 Dana 60, and 32X14X15 tires. The car weighs 2,685 with driver, is a twin 68 turbo, and goes through the traps as high as 179.77 at about 7,400 RPM.

Tony, are you launching off a brake? What RPM and boost levels do you launch?

And you were flying at Morroco, John like to a 7:88 not too bad on a slick track and beautiful GS you have also.

If you had ZERO slippage on your converter, at 160mph, the engine would only be turning 6350 rpm if the tires didnt grow.I use M/T 33s and they are at maximum growth at 160mph (about 2.5"). I woud suggest the 4.30 as John has and possibly a 4.56 if you use 33" tires.
