Rear end recommendations

I want to put a possi set up in the stock housing. Can somebody recommend a good set up to buy? Not too sure on the gear ratio either- getting conflicting info.
Car is an 85 GN with Work5857 turbo, ported iron heads ported intake 3" down pipe running E 85 (still working on all this). Just making a fun car to drive on the street and probably the occasional run at the track- never done that yet either but it looks like fun. Also wondering how well the stock trans will hold up with the added power- assuming the driver has zero self control which is an honest fact

stock 3.42. Eaton regular posi lock is very good 28 spline. Trutrac if you are going for higher hp. Regardless go with aftermarket axles. I prefer Strange.

How tall a rear tire do you plan on running? Will there be slicks or a sticky drag radial type tire for the track? How tall will they be in the "plan"?
Fun on the street might include smokey burnouts or "street action" with a wager on the outcome so you really don't want to be on the losing end of something like that.

Some thirty spline axles might be on that list if you will be doing the sticky tire thing or just want to add it in on the "while I have it apart" list.
The eaton stuff is nice but that off brand yukon stuff works too. There is Brian Trick who can be contacted on facebook or V8buick.

10.5/15 slicks, 850 @ the fly.
mid 9's at 143, 3700#.
