can anyon tell me if the is a DIY method for removing the rear glass? Mine is loose on the top and bottom and leaking water inside. I have very bad rust under the trunk trim panel and want to patch it up . I want to finish pulling the glass off and patch the rusted areas. When complete i wanna get a glass guy to correctly install and seal.

Can anyone tell me how to finish pulling this glass off?

Get a windshield remover tool. It's a handle with a with a blade and another handle attached to a cable to pull the blade around the perimeter to cut the seal. They sell them at tool stores and some automotive paint supplies. Just insert the blade in the seal and pull around and pull the glass off. Sounds like it'll be pretty easy. I have changed my rear window on my red car.

Defroster

Most defrosters have a tab on the rear window that a pigtail connector goes onto, Not totally sure on the Buicks but I bet it just unplugs on each side like the rest I've seen.
