here are some links:

Some say the cc627 and cc651 variable rate springs will raise the rear. I put on cc627, which may have raised it 1/4" on my car (27K miles).

They were pretty easy to install. I jacked up the rear at the differential and put jack stands under the frame at the two rear lift points. I then lowered the differential making sure that there was no stress being placed on the rubber brake line. At some point where the car is supported by the stands and the differential by the jack I disconnectect the shocks at the bottom. I continued to lower the rear end until I could easily pull out the springs. I couldn't put the new ones in untill I removed the bolts that connect the upper control arms to the differential. I checked the orientation of the pigtails on the old springs and put in new the same way. I also replaced the isolator (rubber ring between top of spring and frame. I put the Cargo coils (variable rate) in with the coils that are close together at the top. Next I reattached the uppers and then shocks.

The above is from my memory. I know nothing. I am not a professional mechanic or teacher. If you are relying only on my description of the proceedure that I used you should take it to a pro.

86regal, I have a set of the heavy duty rated rear springs that I ran on my 87 T for a little while. I did not like the added height so I took them out. They look great. I just don't need them anymore since I lowered my car back down. Anyways, I'll take $40 plus shipping for them if you want them. They are in excellent shape. Let me know! Randall

thanks man but my freind can get them for practically nothing, along with shocks he workd for buick so icang get them dirt cheap
