frames out and I need to remove the rearend, any tips, tricks or measurements that I need to take?

I had mine out to rebuild a few years ago. I don't know of any measurements you would need taking it out. Nothing is really adjustable. Very easy actually. 
IMO.
Putting it back in If you are using adjustable trailing arms you would need to center the rear and adjust pinion angle, but those measurements have nothing to do with any original (non-adjustable) measurements.
