i am looking for the 200r4 rebuild kit i see the one from pts extreme but i only see its $159 does that include everything to rebuild my tranny??? i need to know asap

umm k

se turbo is outta business now though i believe and plus we bought a tranny from them through pts extreme and its a killer street/strip transmission on the paper for waranty i got for it said that it void the waranty if it was raced. which was complete BS. of course that was the tranny we put in my dads car. so i try not to deal with SE turbo anymore. the closest person i know about is dana wyatt a great guy and is the only person local ill deal with.

I just got my tranny through them. I believe no tranny from PTS(2004R)has a warranty w/out the billet pump upgrade. SE Turbo doesn't warranty the trans,PTS does. Paul just sells them. I thought Dana worked for them. Dana was the only person I would ever talk to when he was at BGC.
www.bulkparts.com has rebuild kits but I don't know the quality.

First off, S.E.Turbo is still in business and doing well. Second, all PTS transmissions are warranted for 12 mo/12k miles. The only exclusion is damaged cause by a failed pump if you don't have the billet pump assembly installed. We build them to race, and they are covered.
Back to the original question, the deluxe rebuild kit has all the soft parts for a complete rebuild including clutches and steels. Give us a call and we can get you set up.

warranty

I got my reciept form SE Turbo a few days ago and guess what-a long list of warranty void if .....
And #11 is....Warranty null and void if car/truck is raced!!!!

This should be changed no?

ANY part used in racing has that disclaimer.
It has to be there. If you race and crash or do something stupid like miss 3rd and hit reverse, who is going to warranty? Go investigate all the big companies. B&M, TCI ( Maybe Greg can shed some light) , any of them and report back what the warranty states.

So it is covered if I race it-just cant do neutral drops off rev limiter or use reverse after the lights to help slow the car. It just sounds like if I make a few passes at track and warranty will be voided. Just wanted a little clarity.

TCI products do not have a warranty exclusion for racing. Our policy reads as follows:

TCI® Automotive, LLC warrants that all of its products are free from defects in material and workmanship, for a period of 30 days on Racing equipment and a period of 90 days on Street/Strip equipment. The warranty period begins from the date of purchase. We recommend that you keep your invoice or receipt because proof of purchase date is required. This limited warranty shall only cover the original purchaser.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY ON THE FOLLOWING:

a. Any product that has been physically altered, improperly installed or maintained.
b. Any product used in an improper application, abused or not used in connection with the proper parts.
c. Any product that is defective due to accident, neglect or unauthorized repair.
d. Any product where proper cooling and/or fluid levels have not been maintained.
