I have a rebuilt 200 trans here for sale. Had it for a while, just been too busy to post it or try to sell it. It was rebuilt few years ago, by a local reputable Buick trans man (same guy did mine & many other 10 sec rides) and still fresh with NO runs or miles on it. As far as I know, it is a basic HD street/strip rebuild, with good parts. NO billet or custom stuff, just a real good rebuild with high quality clutches, plates, etc. He does a few mods like good 1-2 band & sometimes adds extra clutch plates in 3rd & stuff like that. BUT, I can't say for sure what all got done to this one, it was just a spare for a friend. Probably got dyno tested too, at his trans shop, just can't say for sure, been too long.
It DOES have the correct valve body, and SHOULD be able to be dropped in & drive. I can't guarantee it, due to the variables of installation, TV cable setup, and break-in period abuse. It has a little surface rust from sitting around, but should be fine. I am pricing it at $700 + shipping because I can't guarantee it & need to get rid of it. That's an excellent deal for someone willing to take a little risk, worth almost that for core & parts I'm sure. At worst, it might need a quick freshening/cleaning from sitting IMO. It's worth $1200+ if it looked a little nicer & could stand behind it 100%. His rebuilds usually go for about what I am asking for the whole thing.
I would feel comfortable cleaning it up a little, and dropping it in a low 11 sec car. With proper cable setting & easy break-in period of 500 miles, wouldn't surprise me to see it last for years & years. I have a good stock converter that can go with it if you want it. It may have been rebuilt too, with extra wide lockup band & rebalanced, but can't say for sure. Been too long, which is anything more than a month now with everything going on here
Might have dipstick tube too, I forget.
I'm sure some will want to see pics & closeups, so I will try to get some this week & either email or post on our site. It's not horrible or anything, just some light surface rust on the steel parts that show. Also, possible delivery somewhere between northeast OH and Orlando FL coming up here around dec 7th - 18th (no additional charge). That's rough dates when we go to the PRI show in FL. Usually go right down 77 south from OH, WVA, etc.

First email I get saying they will take it, get's it. I would like to get downpayment within a few days, just so I know I got it sold for sure & don't have to relist it or whatever. Will take a backup buyer just in case things don't work out for some reason. Will work out other pickup/shipping arrangements if needed. Rather not use 3rd party to ship it, too many hassles with epa etc from what I hear. Can definitely meet within 1 hr or so of Akron/Youngstown OH. Will throw a new trans mt in with it at half price if someone picks it up
