Yeah, that's what I read, seems like a long shot but two MAFs in... Plus if it is malfunctioning, it's only "partially". As a test I set Base to "0" and it ran particularly rich, which I would expect. We'll see! Thanks very much for the input!

Actually I did have a Translator go haywire on me. It was running crappy and went back to stock and was fine. I replaced the Translator and ran good like it did before it started to crap up.

Did you ever determine anything specific about why it might have gone bad, or just replaced it?

No I did not. I had access to another and that solved the issue.

Just wanted to post a follow up.

I sent my MAF Translator to Eric at TT along with one of my new MAFs. He sent me a different translator and just like that, the AFR is right where it should be.

He did say there was nothing obviously wrong with the translator I sent him, but was still kind enough to send me a new one (I hadn't bought the apparently defective one from him). A nice easy fix in the end, despite the translator being an unlikely culprit.
