Recommendations for LS1 brake pads

I did the LS1 brake conversion about 10 years ago and purchased Hawk brake pads. I'm ready for new pads. Since it's been a while since I bought high performance brake pads, can anyone recommend better pads than the Hawks? What's your experience? TIA!

I’ve been very happy with Advance Auto’s wearever platinum (whatever the best is) ceramic pads and in my opinion are far superior to semi metallic. I can’t say how they compare to the Hawks though.
The fist stop in the morning is not as great as the subsequent stops, the ceramic pads seem to need a little heat in them to work optimum.

I’ve used ceramic pads from R1 Concepts with the same results. They seem to have a greater application for matching front and rear pads on oddball rear disc brake setups.

I went again with the Hawk pads. They work extremely well. I ended up getting the front pads, which is what I needed for about $77
