anything that cheap has got to be junk imo.that brake is just another copy of what everyone else is selling.the more technically motivated companies have broken the mold and designed there own in favor of ripping off someone elses design.griner engineering ,kilgore trans, and ckperformance all have their own unique designs .that brake uses the rear servo left on in 2 and 3 and if you blow out the intermediate snap ring the trans locks up while flying down the track.this is not a myth but factual .also t brake set up time is forever as well as poor reverse engagement without picking up pump speed.we use the forward clutch and rear band simutaneously applied in first gear and use the solenoid to apply the intermediate cluitches to lock the gear train.now on brake release we dump the intermediate clutch and exhaust the band at the manual valve during a 1/2 shift.we have been using this brake for 2 years with excellent results and will soon be making the aluminum cnc version.
